Two tractor-trailers and $22 million in drugs taken near
NORTH CAROLINA
RALEIGH - Two tractor-trailers laden with $22 million worth of prescription and over-the-counter drugs were stolen from a trucking company near Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
No arrests were made as of late Wednesday night, and police had not located the loot from the weekend theft.
Raleigh police, who are working with the FBI and other state and federal agencies, released few details on the heist.
"Investigators are looking at everything," said Jim Sughrue, spokesman for the Raleigh Police Department. Police think at least three people were involved, but no descriptions were released.
