MURTHA "LASHES OUT." AGAIN.
Irey for Congress ^ | August 2, 2006 | Irey for Congress

Posted on 08/02/2006 2:54:15 PM PDT by Just A Nobody

MONONGAHELA, August 2) -- Washington County Commissioner and Pennsylvania 12th district Republican Congressional nominee Diana Irey -- responding to Jack Murtha's statement today that "I don't blame the staff sergeant for lashing out," in response to a law suit filed against Murtha by Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich, claiming defamation -- today released the following statement:

"'I don't blame the staff sergeant for lashing out.'

"That's what Jack Murtha had to say today, responding to news that Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich has sued Murtha for defamation of character and libel.

"'Lashing out?' Filing a lawsuit for libel and defamation is not 'lashing out' -- it is using the legal system to protect one's good name.

"Leave it to Jack Murtha to libel a soldier and then call it 'lashing out' when the soldier responds in the appropriate manner.

"Jack Murtha was wrong when he said Frank Wuterich and the Marines under his command 'killed innocent civilians in cold blood' before the first Marine was charged, before the first court-martial was convened, before the first soldier was convicted.

"Jack Murtha wasn't there. Jack Murtha has no idea what happened there that day, other than what he has been told. But that didn't stop him from declaring as fact that American Marines had 'killed innocent civilians in cold blood' before the investigations were even complete.

"Shame on you, Jack Murtha. You should know better.

"Jack Murtha, of all people, should understand better than most the importance of letting the legal system work before rendering a judgment. If it hadn't been for the presumption of innocence until guilt is proven beyond a reasonable doubt, Jack Murtha's congressional career would have ended 26 years ago, when the FBI got him on tape first refusing a $50,000 bribe, and then saying, 'At this point, you know, we do business together for a while. Maybe I'll be interested and maybe I won't … Now, I won't say that some day, you know, I, if you made an offer, it may be I would change my mind some day.'

Nothing to get pissy about. I am one the same team as you. I want to see Murtha defeated and that is additional ammuntion that can be fired his way. As a former marine, I have NO LOVE for Murtha.

I can tell you care about this race and would love to see Murtha defeated. I am just trying to do my little part to push him off the cliff. I do not care if I am riding the bench on your team, the important thing is that I am playing for the same team as you.

That's fine. You're welcome to join the team, Devil Dog. Commissioner Irey needs a lot of help to defeat this despicable sleazeball. But to come in here saying this stuff like it's new, you come across to me as Capt Obvious.

That's an AP piece written by Robert Burns AmeriBrit and it's pure spin, he's their military writer. It was released only hours after it was announced that Murtha is being sued by a Haditha Marine.

I posted it on a different thread earlier today and so did "just a nobody". I will do my part to help Ivey, yet I do not take kindly to sarcasm like name calling for no reason. I am not a captain obvious however it shows me allot about you.

Quit your whining, and try to learn a few things. Like your favorite candidate's last name.

Your right about mispelling Irey's last name. Will not make that mistake again. On the rest GTFU.

"Jack murtha, of all people..."

And, there's the problem. Jackie is not a person, but a slug, living off the the taxpayer dole.

If you are old enough .................

****

Murtha is a dummy for the Dem. party.

The only thing missing when his wooden lips move is Edgar Bergen by his side.

I distinctly remember watching President Nixon, when talking about a then-current accused criminal (the case had strong notoriety at the time) say the guy was “guilty, directly or indirectly” of the crime. The phrase “allegedly guilty” had simply escaped his mind.

He was vilified in the press and there was no small amount of discussion on the “Sunday shows” about the fact that he could be sued for saying that.

Enter Murtha, who goes far farther, and IS sued. This will be interesting. We will see if we live under the rule of law.

I believe Murtha will lose this one, and he is very, VERY nervous.

If you'd been following this from the start several months ago, you'd be very aware that no-one here has overlooked ANYTHING that's come out of Murtha 'the traitors' mouth, and within the archives here at FR or on our own HD's every word he's uttered has been recorded.

Sorry, I had to step away for a bit. I know what you are trying to say J.

Coop, this was discussed at length on another thread today. There are some people that still believe that the Marines have been charged. They have not.

There are three cases floating around and they are being confused.

Edgar Bergen

WHO???

LOL! I really don't know who he is, but I certainly get the gist of what you are saying. So, who do you think is pulling his strings or has his hand up his back?

The freepers here at freerepublic are the best on the net. I know that and respect that highly, that is why I am here.

I made the post to show Murtha was slandering the staff sergeant with his response
yet again.
I made the post so we could fire more ammunition at Murtha and ensure his defeat.

'Just a Nobody" pointed out they had made the same point on another thread earlier, like myself. I was not the only pointing that fact out. "Just a Nobody" and I had an adult and respectual posts back and forth. Then "Coop" responded in less adult fashion with sarcasm when I had did nothing to him or her. Well, I take no crap from no one when I have not done anything wrong. I never started with the sarcasm.

I am here to be enlightened and learn and mybe teach a little myself. I am not her to be insulted for no reason.

He was vilified in the press

Ahhh, but you forgot.....NIXON was a Republican. That little fact makes all the difference in the world.

Before I make my next statement, let me say that it is not directed at you. It is cynical and sarcastic, but very true in my opinion. Ready?

We will see if we live under the rule of law.

I think it is hilarious that there are some that think we, the collective citizens, live under the rule of law. The peons do, the Republicans do, (with a few exceptions) but the DemonRAT party most certainly DO NOT!

Short list:
Any Kennedy, any KlinToon, j F'n sKerry, Murtha, McKinney, Sandy Burgler, Marc Rich ............................
