Still, Humphries was concerned the fence isn't really fulfilling the Minuteman mission: to curtail illegal immigration. "I know that if I had contributed a bunch of money, as evidently a bunch of people have done, to build a fence to keep out illegal aliens, and my money was spent to put up a five-strand, barbed-wire fence to stop cattle, I wouldn't be very happy about it," Humphries said.No kidding. I'm surprised there aren't Minutemen trying to tar & feather Simcox.

Donate to Randall Terry for State Senate:
Activist got $10,000 for Schiavo work State Senate candidate Randall Terry earned $10,000 last year for roughly two months of work as the spokesman for Terri Schiavo's family, according to a financial-disclosure form filed with the state Division of Elections.
Terry, the anti-abortion activist who is trying to unseat veteran legislator Jim King of Jacksonville in the Sept. 5 Republican primary, defends the payments, saying he was worth every penny as he tried to keep the brain-damaged woman alive. He was paid by the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation, a St. Petersburg-based nonprofit set up by Schiavo's parents and siblings.
-snip-
Terry's financial-disclosure form shows that his only other source of income in 2005 was $4,545 that he was paid as president of the Society for Truth and Justice, a St. Augustine-based advocacy group.
More at the link. This article along the same vein is also interesting.

Well you know there is someone down in FLorida running. Perhaps that person is there I have friends and family down in that district. I'll have to send them a "missing persons" poster and see if they've spotted anyone suspicious looking.

Connie Hair, a spokeswoman for the group, said its financial situation is simple. "There is no controversy," she said. "There is no impropriety."I do hope she keeps talking.
