I'm surprised that he survived ejecting at over 750 MPH.

The fastest ejection out of a production aircraft, where the pilot lived, was a Russian pilot in a MiG-25 at Mach 2.5 or 2.6. Amazingly enough, it was an older ejection seat, I think the KM-1 (MiG-21 era I believe), instead of the K-36s, which you have probably seen a demonstration of at the Paris Air Show.

No doubt. Bummer that the guy got hurt, it's great that he's alive.
