QUEERLY BELOVED
A homosexual-activist police officer assigned to security at a Promise Keepers men's conference in Florida is being investigated for threatening members of a Christian organization petitioning for a state constitutional marriage amendment.
"I have never in my life seen such unprofessional and bizarre behavior from a law enforcement officer," said John Stemberger, the president and general counsel of the Florida Family Policy Council.
"This kind of ridiculous harassment and intimidation was meant to thwart the effort to protect marriage in Florida. It should remind all of us that we are engaged in a culture war.

And? I spend way too much time on FR and don't remember seeing it. I can't say I'm glad it was posted but it is good to be informed.
The blatant hypocritical and illegal behavior of the gay activists is something we all need to be aware of.

Politics or Policing. Make up your mind people, if you can't divorce yourself from the politics you don't belong on a police force.
To: dcnd9
Call me old fashioned, but I seem to remember a right to petition the government. I would also hope the police department would consider the cops conduct 'unbecoming' at a minimum; or would it be ok for a male cop to kiss a female cop while on duty?
I hope these cops and the town are sued for violation of the Promise Keepers consitutional rights.

The sergeant then proclaimed he was the authority and "the Bible says that Christians should obey the authorities."
When the authorities don't violate God's law. It's that darned context thing again...
