Once again brilliant stuff here anita.<p.

The rats just can't stand it that Tony Snow is now in charge and they can't get away with journalistic murder anymore, and Katie Kouric will ultimately engender fewer and smaller ratings than old half dead Bob Shieffer did IMHO.

It's only by comparison to the NYSlimes that the WaPo seems more moderate.

Congress just voted overwhelming in support of Israel's actions. Both parties have condemned Hezbollah. I don't see any difference politically.

You're joking. Right? These left will never give up. One thing they don't understand, is that Republicans hardly ever tell the exit pollsters who they voted for, as its none of their business.

I've been asked questions by exit pollsters, and I just tell them "My vote is PRIVATE." End of conversation. The RATs love to brag and get their pictures in the papers.

I bet that the questioning, especially from Russert, will show a bias for Lieberman.

The questioning struck me as very hostile to Lieberman.  Only a few questions about Lamont for Jim Dean and one of those was about this not being a case of  voting for Lamont but against Lieberman.

And lil Timmah was in full hunch mode for his attempted smackdown of Rice.  She was totally unruffled.

..he will not be counted as a Democrat in taking over the Senate..

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way; and he has already stated that if he wins as an Independant, he will caucus with the Democrats, i.e., vote with them in determining which party will lead the Senate.

Jim Jeffords did that when he switched parties in 2001, turning a 50-50 tie, broken by the VP in favor of the (R)s, to 49(R)-50(D) + 1(I). Jeffords got a committee chairmanship from agreeing to vote for Democratic control of the Senate. The dems controlled it until the elections of 2002.

I didn't see that about Lieberman's call for Runsfeld's resignation, which proves once again that he will say anything to get vorwa. As you know, I share your distaste for him and your sentiments about his reelection.

Russert is obviously very anti-Lieberman.

Plus, they have the nerve to declare Jim Dean's position as "Supporter, Lamont for Senate".

UPDATE: Meet the Press waited until the debate was almost over to label Jim Dean as "Head, Democracy for America".

Sick, twisted, deceptive Democrats.

An excellant post...you summed it up very articulately.

Part of the stupid questions is the great number of bimbos with no credentials other than perkiness and very large lips. It is painful to watch them interview foreign ambassadors or generals.

Very true for Britain as well the Conservatives believe in the secrecy of the ballot box whilst the left love to brag.

One reason I rarely take polls seriously and why the left is always over sampled (apart from partisan bias) is because the conservatives/right wing voters rarely wish to participate keeping their views to themselves.
