Reuters withdraws all photos by Lebanese freelance

An immediate enquiry began into Hajj's other work.

It established on Monday that a photograph of an Israeli F-16 fighter over Nabatiyeh, southern Lebanon and dated Aug 2, had also been doctored to increase the number of flares dropped by the plane from one to three.

This implies that it was Reuters that found the 2nd photo. Not true. You cannot even trust this article from Reuters to tell you the truth.

the fact that two of the images by photographer Adnan Hajj had been manipulated undermined trust in his entire body of work.

Not to worry, Adnan. As soon as things cool down, some lib media will give you a job. Look at all the lib plagiarists who have gone on to better things. Doris Kearns Goodwin, for example, still gets face time on TV, and Dan Rather has speaking engagements aplenty.

They all do it not to show the real scene but to sensationalize the scene and that's why I think in this case the Israeli's need to take out the reporters/photographers in order to win this war.

Reuters didnt do any investigation on their own. Those two images that were cited were the images they were caught doctoring by Little Green Football blog. Theres more doctored images by the same freelancer, no doubt

To Reuters' credit, it is evident that they wish to maintain at least the appearance of diligent accuracy in photographic reproduction.

Now, as to the way their photos are framed, the selective choice of subject matter, and ESPECIALLY what they selectively choose to ignore, well, that's fair game.
