Listen to the link. I can't believe this is real. Part of me remains a bit sceptical, but people in Iraq are dying for plenty of stupid reasons, so this shouldn't be too far fetched....

I wouldn't trust the media now if they said ice was cold.

"John Hendren is wrapping up the latest of more than a dozen visits to the war zone since early 2003"

Meaning that he was roaming around over there BEFORE the war.

Another of Saddam's useful idiots like the ones at CNN who admit to knowing of abuses and torture under Saddam Hussein but kept quiet to maintain their Baghdad bureau?

The very fact that it is perfectly possible shows how bizarre the whole killing sprees are and the pretexts for for them.

Mind you I remember in art college 2 clowns indulging in an animation set in a fruit market. But they were 17 years olds and given a 'talking to' by the year tutor. They were not summarily executed. Anyway nowadays it would be hailed as art.

The story also says that goats are required to wear panties -- otherwise they are too sexually suggestive.

“Shepherds in the rural western Baghdad neighborhood of [?] have recently been murdered, according to locals, for failing to diaper their goats. Apparently the sexual tension is so high in regions where sheikhs take a draconian view of sharia law, that they feel the sight of naked goats poses an unacceptable temptation.” ”

Hmmmmmmmm.

It's difficult to make the case that the USA is making progress with these types of stories becoming more common.
