"With oil above $70 per barrel and BP making record profits, it can afford to properly clean and maintain its pipelines," Markey said in a statement.

Let's see. . . exactly HOW does one do maintenance of a SINGLE pipeline without shutting it down ????

Let's hear the Democratic Party Solution. . .

(crickets)

(more crickets)

(even more crickets)

'nuff said. . .

Wow. They ban new pipelines. Then they demand the oil company to stop all work for months while the Democrats stage a show trial. Like good socialists, they don't understand why the price of oil is so high.

And Kerry called for a 50 cent increase in the Federal gasoline tax. Why does everyone forget that little gem?

I refuse to believe this many people can be this stupid ALL THE TIME. I demand a probe and investigation to find out what drugs are being supplied to the left of the house. No-one that was drug free would rant, rave and ramble the way they do.

All they've done for 5½ years now is waste time, block everything that the US citizens would benefit from and waste taxpayers money.

More of how I feel I'm not allowed to say, but it does involve rat poison.

"Why does congress think the solution to every problem is to have hearings and pass more laws?"

Because that's what makes them feel big and important.

I did not remember that, but he does have a "big dig" to remodel and what a way to pay for it by funneling it through transportation payouts.

These politicians must stay up all night plotting and planning how to rip US off.

Now, that's funny, right 'cher.

Wonder what's so corrosive in the oil, to eat through a pipeline, that I might be putting in my engine? Caribou piss? Eskimo pies?

Well, Dingell and Schumer could be used as emergency plugs for the holes in the corroded pipe. Larger hole [if there is such] could be plugged with Ted.

BP owns a 26.36% stake in the Prudhoe Bay project. Other major stakeholders include Exxon Mobil [NYSE:XOM; LSE:EXX] and ConocoPhillips [NYSE:COP].

Why is BP the only company being held responsible by these dingbats?

I would like to nickname her "Stretch" Pelosi.

There is a limit to everything and I think she will be soon reminded what, at least, one of them is.

* May need a HAZMAT crew available for that event.

When you talk about people who VOTE over and over again for these LOONY LIBERALS, you are talking about people with an AVERAGE IQ of MINUS FIVE MILLION, and brains that look like an used-up Charcoal Briquet from too much use of Marijuana, LSD, Heroin, Cocaine, Crack, Ecstasy, PCP, GHB, HGH, THG, Methamphetamines, Speed, Opium, Ritalin, Nox, and every other illilit drug on the face of the planet!

Just not for weeks or months like BP said would likely be the amount of downtime.
