The FBI has issued an urgent nationwide alert for 11 Egyptian students who entered the United States last week but failed to show up for their courses at Montana State University.
An FBI advisory says there are, at present, no known connections to any terrorist group but that the students are to be "approached with caution" and taken into custody. They "are here illegally and wanted for questioning," the advisory says.
The advisory comes just over a month before the five-year anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks on the United States.
"This is of very serious concern and is being closely tracked," said Rep. Peter King (R-NY), Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.
The FBI says the Egyptians arrived at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York on July 29 and disappeared. The advisory says the alert is nationwide but that there is specific concern the Egyptians may be on the Eastern Seaboard.
According to the advisory the 11 missing Egyptians are:
1. Ibrahim, El Sayed Ahmed Elsayed; DOB OF 4/29/1986.
2. El Dessouki, Eslam Ibrahim Mohamed; DOB OF 02/21/1985.
3. El Bahnasawi, Alaa Abd El Fattah Ali; DOB OF 04/02/1986.
4. Abd Alla, Mohamed Ragab Mohamed; DOB OF 02/15/1984.
5. El Laket, Ahmed Refaat Saad El Moghazi; DOB OF 09/01/1986.
6. El Ela, Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Abou; DOB OF 02/02/1985.
7. El Moghazy, Mohamed Ibrahim Elsayed; DOB OF 08/08/1986.
8. Abdou, Ebrahim Mabrouk Moustafa; DOB OF 02/25/1984.
9. El Gafary, Moustafa Wagdy Moustafa; DOB OF 07/01/1988.
10.Maray, Mohamed Saleh Ahmed; DOB OF 09/12/1985.
11.El Shenawy, Mohamed Ibrahim Fouaad; DOB OF 08/12/1988.

In other news, the US has announced new plans for assisting Egytian and Saudi students to attend college in the US. Each student will be given free air fare, a handgun, a rifle, 10 pounds of explosives of his choice, free tuition to the college of his (no females allowed) choice, and free use of a car if his grades are above 'F'. A careful screening system will be used to exclude terrorists. A secret trick question ("Are you a terrorist?"( will be used. Only students answering "no" will be allowed to participate. If they say "yes", they can partially participate, but they will not receive the guns and explosives. Government officials are sure this screeing system will be sufficient.
My guess was that they were never asked what they think of the Muslim Brotherhood, etc. Sheesh. I can understand one or two guys ducking out and living like a decadent westerner for a few days, but 11 stretches the mind in unforeseen ways.
Herndon, VA, and MONTGOMERY CO., MD have a nice new shelter, as well. An enterprising fellow can find some "casual labor" to help him visit the CIA HQ just ten miles a way, or pay a visit to national Airport, where you stand under 757's full of incoming and outgoing 'Mericans and take a picture or fire a rocket or...
I think I'd feel better if he WERE on the case, instead of what we have now. Ole Barn screwed things up but, if you recall, everything worked out in the end every time.
wow, these guys are all my age. I used to see DOB's of 10+ years before my own, but seeing all those "1985s" is a real eye-opener, in a way, of the work my generation has cut out for itself.

The university is in Mansoura,apparently a Muslim Brotherhood strongholds.
We didn't see the writing on the wall at the time and neither did the nation.

You should presume they are already trained for their mission.
They probably also have pre-arranged safe homes. I just don't get why some of them actually did go to Montana.
