FBI: Approach Missing Egyptians with Caution (UPDATE: see post # 685)
ABCNews ^ | 08/08/06 | Brian Ross

The FBI has issued an urgent nationwide alert for 11 Egyptian students who entered the United States last week but failed to show up for their courses at Montana State University.

An FBI advisory says there are, at present, no known connections to any terrorist group but that the students are to be "approached with caution" and taken into custody. They "are here illegally and wanted for questioning," the advisory says.

The advisory comes just over a month before the five-year anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks on the United States.

"This is of very serious concern and is being closely tracked," said Rep. Peter King (R-NY), Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.

The FBI says the Egyptians arrived at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York on July 29 and disappeared. The advisory says the alert is nationwide but that there is specific concern the Egyptians may be on the Eastern Seaboard.

According to the advisory the 11 missing Egyptians are:

1. Ibrahim, El Sayed Ahmed Elsayed; DOB OF 4/29/1986.

2. El Dessouki, Eslam Ibrahim Mohamed; DOB OF 02/21/1985.

I wonder if they're scrambling to get more information before Gibson continues reporting on it? Maybe trying to find a talking head? lol

I think they might've went to Connecticut to volunteer for the LaMont campaign?

I know you're kidding, but they do know where there will be at least ONE Jew in full view tonight.

"Jersey City, the home away from home for the Radical Jihadi."

Back in the late '90s my brother spent a lot of time in Jersey City. He was of the opinion that a lot of the check cashing businesses were muslim owned. After 9/11 he hoped that the authorities were tracking those businesses in much the same way as the tracking of bank transactions that was recently revealed by the MSM.

They're date of births all range from 1984 to 1988. That means they are all pushing forty.

Better toss a couple of new batteries in your calculator :)

Once finished with Lanny Lulu Liar, he'll get to the missing students (I hope), but he might go to an update on the racially tormented Cynthia.

"The students were supposed to take connecting flights on July 29 through JFK International Airport in New York to Montana, but only one made it to Bozeman. A second arrived July 30 and four more showed up on July 31, Conover said."

I did a little research on flights between Cairo and Bozeman, and this intinerary doesn't make sense. The quickest way to Bozeman from Cairo is to take the daily AirEgypt flight to Frankfurt Germany and then get on the daily direct flight to Denver. Why did these guys fly into JFK? If you fly from Cairo to JFK you get in at 7pm, and your connecting flight to Denver or Chicago doesn't leave until the next morning. Plenty of time to get through customs though. But, as I said, no one who really wanted to get to Bozeman from Cairo would fly into New York.

There are references to this exchange program on the Montana State U website. The governor of Montana spent 7 years in Saudi Arabia, and speaks Arabic. Montana is one of 5 state Universities with this particular type of exchange program.

Apparently the rule for the kind of visa these fellows were issued, one can enter the US within a certain number of days before the course begins, and must show up at the course on the first day of class. I guess this is why there is a time lapse between their entry and the BOLO.

Why did these guys fly into JFK?

If these are bad guys, considering how Bloombug hates profiling, JFK and NYC were probably a safer choice.

According to the lady from the U on MSNBC, there's something like a 32 day lag between the no-show and the reporting. But since the course was only about 30 days long (and these guys were Egyptian?), the university decided to report the no-show after a couple of days.

Speaking of Bad Hairday Everyday McKinney, I went to a new hairdresser today named John. John is my age, been married forever (and made sure I knew he was married to a WOMAN - LOL) and he is so conservative it almost scared ME.
