In Lebanon during the night, the Air Force struck over 120 Hizbullah targets, including 80 buildings, several weapons storage facilities, four rocket launchers, 25 access roads and seven bridges.
A Hizbullah headquarters in Bint Jbeil was one of the hardest struck targets. The structure, from which at least ten gunmen were firing at IDF paratroopers, was leveled.
A senior Hizbullah man was reportedly killed by an Israeli air strike in the city of Mashgara, together with his entire family. Two more people were killed in one of the many Lebanese slums inhabited by the children and grandchildren of Arabs who fled Israel during the 1948 War of Independence. The IDF says the home of a Hizbullah official was targeted and Hizbullah's Al-Manar TV says it was a Fatah institution perhaps a testimony to the fluidity of membership in either group....................... IDF soldiers involved in counter-terror operations across Judea and Samaria overnight Tuesday arrested three wanted men during the night in PA-controlled Shechem and Ramallah. Suspects in custody include Popular Front and Fatah-Tanzim terrorists. Soldiers were targeted with fire bombs, but there were no reports of injuries to IDF soldiers.

Let God arise and his enemies be scattered!
He said they have the photographs to prove it, and those photos will be finished, er, ready, er, available in the next 6 to 8 hours.
I need a new tagline because this one looks too much like I'm criticizing the Israelis for what they're destroying. Not so. Israel is a center of innovation and industry in the Mideast. So here's my new tagline, God to Abram:
Genesis 13:15: "For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it,
and to thy seed for ever."
Somebody just got mean about the whole thing.....
Air strikes alone won't do it. Send in massive ground forces and root out every rat-hole. They're not killing enought of the SOB's.
Kofi Annan will not be pleased.
New Israeli General in Charge of Lebanon
http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/08/08/D8JCIBJ80.html
Israel's military dispatched a new general to coordinate military efforts in Lebanon Tuesday, the army said. Israeli media linked the change to a possible intensification of the offensive as well as to criticism of the handling of the fight against Hezbollah.
Israel has lost 36 civilians and 64 troops in rocket attacks and ground fighting since the fighting began July 12. Despite Israel's 28- day offensive in Lebanon, rocket attacks continued to pummel northern Israel.
An army statement said armed forces chief Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz on Tuesday sent his deputy, Maj. Gen. Moshe Kaplinksi, to organize the military actions. The move effectively sidelines the head of the northern command, Maj. Gen. Udi Adam.
The army statement said Halutz retained "complete confidence" in Adam, and the military would not comment further on the reasons for Kaplinski's appointment. But Adam was clearly dispirited by the news.
Asked by Israel Television whether he would resign, Adam said he did not intend to quit while the fighting still raged.
"At this stage one has to rise above it," he said. "I have to keep my head clear for the war, there are soldiers in the field who are fighting with courage ... soldiers are being killed, I don't think I can abandon them now."
Bottom line is that appeasing one's enemies never works. Jews know that. Positive reinforcement, Psych. 101, for heaven's sake. What could they have been thinking. Or drinking.
Perused Israeli links, reading columns detailing what's led up to the present war. (Israel got screwed by Leftists.) I have the distinct feeling Leftists haven't learned a thing. They're still, including Olmert, rushing to offer land for doubtful peace. Nuts.
The wine of tolerance.
What could they have been thinking. Or drinking.
Or Smoking..........
I believe somewhere that there is a plan. Israel and everyone knew Hezbollah had thousands of rockets, and an array of fairly advanced Syrian and Iranian weapons. Iranian supplied materials used to make & control road side bombs have killed more American soldiers in Iraq than actual combat. Three weeks into this skirmish, and that is all it is as Israel could have unleashed hell on day one, when most Arab governments believed Hezbollah at fault. Now Sunni Arab muslim countries see exactly what persian Iranians have trained and supplied in their midst, well trained and well equipped shia extremest terror.
I some how believe this is a wake up call to these Sunni countries, ... look at the Iran / Syria goals for the middle east. Now the IDf are showing on worldwide television,a lebanonese born hezbollah terrorist, trained in Syria and Iran, one of the group that entered Israel, killed 8 IDF soldiers while capturing two ........... and starting this Israele reprisal.
Smell something going on behind the scene ?
I do, are we looking to make the case that we need, in the very near future, to turn certain sites in Iran into .........DUST !!!
Mid to latter part of August.
I hope that is the case.
Good........Another massacre in Jenin.......Bout time, Makes My Day! Hopefully this time it will be the real thing!
