Lets not let this turn into another Freeper we-luv-u-Lieberman-athon.

Democrats are either kooky, blind or apathetic. Lieberman falls into the "blind" category...he was rejected by the "kook" element of the party...he was rejected because he dared to "see"...yet he still wants to be part of the party that rejected him.

Many Freepers still believe that once the "D" is removed from his title that Lieberman will regain his sight. Nonsense. At best, Lieberman will fall somewhere between McCain and Chaffee, McCain being the more "conservative" of the three. At worst, he's going to be another Jeffords...pulling the GOP even further to the left so that the GOP can gain his favor (and vote) on other GOP issues.

Its unfortunate that his political/patriotic bravery was rewarded with a kick in the groin...and for this and all the vicious attcks that he's received I do have some pity.

But Lieberman is still a liberal and both Lieberman and Lame-ont need to be defeated.

We may be neighbors, I heard that a$shole Kuby's rant too, and the digs at Joe Lieberman, and he said something along the lines that Chuck Hagel was the only 2008 option for Republicans because the people have spoken.
..........When pigs fly.

I was a little disapointed when the ba$tard came back from vacation yesterday.

The Democratic Party has now morphed into something like the Green or radical Socialist Parties.
.
.
. Lets just call them what they are
the socialist party of America.

I like the resume of the Republican running for US Senate in Conn. It surly is time for the Republicans to get out the vote for him as they will not likely get another chance anytime soon to have a realistic shot at that seat. I do not feel sorry for Joe L. I think he is a decent person and better than the Conn liberals he serves, but he is, as you note, a Dem. Or as I prefer, a RAT. I saw and heard Mary Matalin, employee of Dick Cheney, on Hannity last nite, refusing to say she would vote for the Rep candidate over Liberman. Republicans who put personal feelings over loyalty to their own party disgust me. I think that other high profile Republicans need to recognize that their fondness for the one decent RAT in the Senate does not trump loyalty to the Republican party candidate who is more than just a nice human being. Alan Schlesinger, sans a ghost in his closet, appears to be a top notch candidate. Do they really think if the situation was reversed that the RAT person would reciprocate? I think not.

Yes - I'm hoping that Jeffrey Lichtman will replace him. Jeffrey Lichtman is a liberal but he's not a self-hating Jew like Kuby.

Kuby also called Israel "a terrorist state" because they kill civilians, whereas Hezbollah kills primarily soldiers.

Kuby showed his ignorance by THAT statement. If civilians are being killed in Lebanon, it's because Hezbollah is holding them at gunpoint to keep them from leaving their homes, near which the Hezzies have place their rocket launchers, thereby causing their deaths when Israel bombs the launch sites.

Very true, and he seems to interact better, less condescending with Webber and Knuckles Sliwa.

I hope that Father Paul can stop Rabbi Joe from strangling Kuby.

I am no fan of Lieberman's (due to his social policy), but his foreign policy regarding Iraq and Israel is proving to be a litmus test for the Dems.

It appeared that Liberman has moral values something the libs can't relate to.

But boy did they make a major booboo by getting rid of the only DINO in the entire crowd that brought a little dignity to the table (for a dem that is).

Shows that the entire party has split into a million pieces and now humpty dumpty can't put that party together again ever!

"Clinton went on to tell Lieberman supporters, "I think the Democrats are making a mistake to go after each other, [and must not] allow our differences over what to do now in Iraq ... divide us . . . "

I'll give Clinton credit for this: unlike most Democrats, he is not trying to re-write history regarding Iraq. He knows damn well that he made basically the same claims about the threat of Iraq that Bush did. He actually has more integrity on this issue than Gore, Kerry et al.

Not to mention that Hezbollah has fired hundreds of rockets into civilian areas in Israel. Of course, he might be excused for this, because the MSM has led many to believe that this is all about the kidnapped soldiers.

This may be the beginning of the split of the Democrat party

It may also be the end of the Jewish vote for them and more importantly of Jewish funding

I simply cannot understand how any Jew could still be a democrat now that their antisemitism is so blatantly exposed

Wishful thinking. Not going to happen. Dem antisemitism has been exposed for a long time and it has changed nothing. Clinton and Albright sold out Israel in Oslo and that changed nothing.

I have been watching the Dems and their antisemitism all of my adult life (since the late 60s) and it still has not changed the Jewish vote.

As someone else pointed out in this thread, party trumps religion for libs.
