Abulhassan and Houssaiky admitted buying about 600 phones in recent months at stores in southeast Ohio, said sheriff's Maj. John Winstanley. They sold the phones to someone in Dearborn, a Detroit suburb, Winstanley said.

Could be used to trigger explosive devices....that is a lot of phones!

*10 August 2006; 0200 ET: Police in the U.K. have reportedly foiled a plot to smuggle explosive devices in airline hand luggage to blow up planes in mid-flight, or take over aircraft and crash them into targets inside the U.S.

Police in the United Kingdom have reportedly made several arrests, and the investigation is expected to expand beyond the UK, according to investigative sources.
