Dearborn seems to be the Damascus of the West. I never hear this addressed in the radio real-estate show, but razorwire around a town can't be good for home values.
It does seem to be Jihad Central. It is curious to me with the Lackawanna Six and these guys and the Egyptians who were heading to Montana and disappeared they all seem to be favoring spots near the Canadian border.
I wonder if it is for quick exits or for bringing stuff more easily over the border.
Dearborn is really 2 towns, East Dearborn and West Dearborn. They are divided by a 4 lane highway and culturally disconnected. East Dearborn is very muslim and West Dearborn is very blue collar, young professional Americans. I live in Dearborn and stay on the West side. Most people stick to their own side of Southfield freeway.
