"Islamabad claims credit for foiling bomb plot"
That's fine, so long as they also claim credit for hosting the plotters in the first place.

Thank you Pakistan. I know you're having a hard time with your own terrorists, so I appreciate the courage it took to help us.

One of the major accomplishments of GWB and his Administration has been to improve relations with Pakistan.
Kudos to GWB and to the Paki's.

You know, the title of the article is heavy into setting the focus on Pakistan taking credit. But the text of the article seems to hem and haw at what is coming out of Pakistan. The reference to a "spokeswoman" - "A spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry said" - implied to me that this spokewoman is in the
British Foreign Ministry. There is also an oblique reference to Pakistan sources, but without a direct reference to the latest arrests.
... it just seems to me an agenda piece, with the editor trying to shift the emphasis on what Pakistan might have done, without saying it.
