Yep. They've been doing this crap for decades and getting away with it. It was real easy when they were doing this with blurry black-and-white newspaper pics. With digital pics on computer servers and quick access to information, it ain't working anymore.

It seems they wait until the damage is done
that is almost irrelevant and one of things MSM banks on (and has for years) in their never-ending sypathetic propandizing. The same thing was the course of the day during the 80's - they know that as long as they run things the fact they'll have some retraction down the road is meaningless; nobody ever sees or reads them except the people actually paying attention which aren't the targets of their propaganda in the first place.
