ATTENTION EDITORS - CAPTION CORRECTION FOR SJS01 - 05 WHICH WERE TRANSMITTED AT APPROXIMATELY 1725 GMT ON AUGUST 9, 2006. THE CAPTION INCORRECTLY STATES THE CAUSE OF DEATH. CORRECTED VERSIONS IMMEDIATELY FOLLOW THIS ADVISORY. WE ARE SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED. REUTERS. A Palestinian man carries the body of three year-old Raja Abu Shaban, in Gaza August 9, 2006. The three-year-old girl who had been reported killed by an Israeli air strike in Gaza on Wednesday actually died of an accident, Palestinian medical workers said on Thursday. Workers at Gaza's Shifa hospital said on August 10, 2006 that the initial mistake over the cause of death appeared to have arisen because the girl's corpse was brought in at the same time as the bodies of the gunmen. It sucks to be a Reuters photo editor these days. As well it should...
We really oughta send ol' Algore a thank you note for inventin' this internet thang. Sure been comin' in handy lately.
How much time passed before they issued this correction? What kind of "accident." Was she smoked by the Hezzies when they started to run low on baby bodies for the cameras?
"How much time passed before they issued this correction?"
They wait until photos have been spread all over the "Turd World" and the damage is done. Aftrer that, they can go....oh yeah, we'll get rid of that right now, sorry.
Busted again!
Yeah, they just gave Muzzles another reason to want to kill more Jews. I doubt they will see the retraction. That's pretty inconvenient.
BTW, which photo is it? I get a white screen when I click the link.
Agenda, what agenda??? Just because Rooters has half a dozen pictures of Israelis firing artillery and their website is saturated with pictures of dead kids, rescue workers, and people crying in front of rubble.
They must've yanked it altogether because I'm not getting anything from the source link, either.
She's the one in the white dress, wrapped in a white shroud on the white table in a white room.
Apparently they killed the photo with extreme prejudice.
I keep hearing a beep-beep-beep sound every time I cruise by the Reuters site....
;-)
Another impartial observer...
AL-Reuters shows it's hand again. They would be easy to whoop in Poker.
They keep amplifying the terror. When are they going to stop?
It just keeps going and going.
I think the Reuters propagandists realize they can post these lies then retract them and still get the Arab Streets effect they wanted ... amplify hatred and blood lust. The Arab Streets ignore the retractions and focus purely on what reinforces their lust.
