The Associated Press reports that Hezbollah TV says Hezbollah destroyed an Israeli gunboat off the coast of Tyre, killing or wounding the crew of 12. The Israeli army had no comment.

Nasty probably sank a toy boat in his bath tub.
A little like the Ribbentrop/Molotov pact. Germany/Soviet non-aggression pact, for those of you in Rio Linda.
It is looking like Israel is screwing up this war in a big, big way. I heard a news item this morning that only 20% of Israeli population believes they are winning this war. Maybe they need the UN to bail them out of it.
Been looking everywhere- still not finding confirmation of this- other than from Hizb. You?
Be careful. I think I know what you meant, but the crusades were not a good thing. Their main purpose was to "christianize" the muslim world. Sound familiar?
Reagan didn't get many things wrong, but he sure blew it in Beirut.
I'd say it depends
on whether Netanyahu
becomes the PM . . .
I'd look into that a bit more if I were you! The main purpose of the Crusades was not to convert or "christianize."
Actually, the purpose of the Crusades was to retake the Holy Lands and free the Middle Eastern Christians who were under Muslim domination, as well as rescuing those who had been kidnapped and enslaved. There were several Crusades, some briefly successful in regaining the Holy Places, but none had any permanent success. They did rescue a number of Christians, though.
Wholescale conversion was never undertaken and wasn't really a goal; even the Franciscans were installed primarily as guardians of the Holy Places, rather than as missionaries.
The next attack will not be as small as 9/11. If the Islamofacists are not stopped now, American casualties will be counted in the thousands.
I remember Gary Cooper in "Sergeant York" when he was asked why, after trying to get out of the army on religious grounds, did he kill so many Germans all by himself. He said something to the effect that "those guns were killing our boys - I had to stop those guns." It can't get any simpler than that.
It's now to the point that thousands of people will have to die. The choice is whether those people are going to be Americans and other innocents around the world or the Islamofacists and their supporters.
I just clicked the CNN link.
I don't see this story.
Does Anyone have any type of capture of this story?
Apparently another FRAUDcast by CNN AP and others.
A poster in this thread said Hez' reports are usually trustworthy--- HAH!
Fair enough. Perhaps I should have said re-christianize.
Take in to account this summary of a speech by Pope Urban II about the first crusade:
"The noble race of Franks must come to the aid their fellow Christians in the East. The infidel Turks are advancing into the heart of Eastern Christendom; Christians are being oppressed and attacked; churches and holy places are being defiled. Jerusalem is groaning under the Saracen yoke. The Holy Sepulchre is in Moslem hands and has been turned into a mosque. Pilgrims are harassed and even prevented from access to the Holy Land.
"The West must march to the defense of the East. All should go, rich and poor alike. The Franks must stop their internal wars and squabbles. Let them go instead against the infidel and fight a righteous war.
"God himself will lead them, for they will be doing His work. There will be absolution and remission of sins for all who die in the service of Christ. Here they are poor and miserable sinners; there they will be rich and happy. Let none hesitate; they must march next summer. God wills it!
Does this sound at all familiar?
That may be the only way to solve the problem. As long as they are Islamists, they will want to kill us.
Drudge just pulled it.
Nothing about it on Reuters or AP websites. (ick, now I need a shower)
I'm thinking it's bogus.
Just like their "downing" of a jet that happened to be a leaflet balloon...Lies are all the DUmocrats/Hezbo's have left.
Another FRAUDcaster story, it seems.
I'm glad that's the case, if so.
From ynetnews.com:
IDF denies warship was hit by Hizbullah
The Israel Defense Forces denied reports in Arab media that a Navy warship was hit by a Hizbullah rocket, the army says.
Hizbullah said it sank an Israel warship off the coast of Tyre in southern Lebanon. (Hanan Greenberg)
