We should look at ourselves to discover what we did to make them hate us so much. This is all our fault

I would be willing to bet that there is nothing in life that will make this woman happy. No matter what she has, it will not be enough. Nowhere she goes will be as nice as she thinks it should be. No food will taste as good as she thought it would. There is simply no satisfying people like this. When they get "this", they always look and say "why didn't I get that." Yet if they got "that" instead, they would ask "why didn't I get this".

It's a manifestation of who they are on the inside. They hate themselves and project that hatred onto every situation they encounter. When they see someone hate their country their first question is "What did we do to deserve their hatred" not "I do not think it is OK to hate people, why should they?". It;s akin to rape victims blaming themselves for being attacked. Their focus is on what they could have done instead of why the rapist attacked them. It's sad, but she is a lost cause.

Nice explanation. It's a truly scary thought that this woman is a teacher.
