H'WOOD MORONS SUDDENLY CLAM UP
NY Post ^ | August 11, 2006 | Andrea Peyser

STRANGE and unfamiliar sound emanated from Hollywood yesterday - total silence. It now looks as if the 9/11 attacks were just meant to be a tepid dress rehearsal for the big show. The atrocities that were narrowly averted yesterday - planes bound for our shores, to be blown up in midair by men who hate - prove one thing beyond doubt:

If we care to watch our children grow up, get old enough to retire to Florida, or simply live to see another dawn, we must be vigilant. We cannot relax.

The bullet we dodged whizzed by frighteningly close. That the thousands, perhaps more, that were targeted for death are alive today is testament to the success of governments in Britain and the United States. The ones so viciously maligned by the lefty set who, if allowed to dictate policy, would destroy this nation in a matter of hours.

So it was stunning not to hear the nasal voice of Barbra Streisand, slamming the president in a time of war. Just this past January, Babs was in her usual form in her incoherent blog. She wrote:

"Is this the America we have been fighting for? The Bush administration has failed once more in their [sic] mission to make American safer.

"There is an increasing anti-American sentiment in the Middle East."

John Murtha of Pennsylvania, the House's chief voice of enemy-appeasement - he's called for an unconditional cease-fire in Lebanon and said U.S. Marines "killed innocent civilians in cold blood" in Haditha - was also not in a talkative mood.

Nor was Susan Sarandon, who declared, at a peace rally in Washington after the war in Iraq commenced, that "terrorism cannot be fought with violence."

Damn, Susan. How would you fight it?

We have been reminded in

Not only the suffering and the lack of closure, but the agony of never knowing who or how and the impotence of the USA and the UK.That scenario would definitely have affected the political future of both countries.

However, by detonating one plane every hour, the one destined for Los Angeles could have exploded over that city. Although, the air force could have shot it down over some rangeland in the West.

Every time we foil them, defeat them, reject them, their hatred is fed by more humiliation and they up the ante of their next revenge plot.

I am more and more convinced that it will eventually come down to real functioning militias in the US, UK, Australia, perhaps Canada having to wage a war of resistance against various Islamic and dhimmi enclaves.

My family is long-lived and at times like this, I hope I am not. It is one thing to contemplate bleak times as a youth or someone in early middle age and quite another to do so as even an armed elder.

It's just amazing to me that the fact we stopped this attack will spare the culprits their just retribution. Had we stopped 9/11, the Taliban would still be running Afghanistan.

The Bush administration has failed once more in their [sic] mission to make American safer.

Celebrity typso ping. I wonder which American Babs thought Bush should be making safer. On a side note, Andrea's [sic] is pretty badly misplaced. Do I get a double word score for that?

The Arabs won in "Kingdom of Heaven" of course, but it was still a very entertaining (and very Catholic) movie. My only problem with it was that it was about 45 minutes longer than it needed to be.

It's really too bad Hollyweird did such a hatchet job on the Crusades and Alexander the Great, both are great subjects.

The Hollywood morons fly more than most of us. They are looking the death cult in the face.

Knowing what jerks they are, they'll switch to private jets, then start squawking again.

People who attend movies are supporting Jane Fonda, Barbra Streisand, Susan Sarandon, and all their hate-America friends. It's time to join the boycott...

Hollywood nitwits were thinking..."My god, Johnny Depp or Kate Bosworth could have been on one of those planes!"

Kate Bosworth? Has she said something moonbat lately?

I wish that Fox news, or someone would start their morning programs EVERYDAY with the clip of Michael Moore professing "There is no terrorist threat".

There is nothing so wrong with the world that a mass celebrity fund-raising concert couldn't solve. The concert after 9/11 proved this.

Come to think of it, we have had no terror on our mainland since their fundraining concert. They also prevented more hurricanes from hitting the Gulf Shor after their Kanye West comedy hour last fall.

Hillary and Kerry were awfully quiet too, just like so many libs were after 9/11. Don't worry, they'll soon crawl back out of their holes.

Well if "Jimmah" Carter had kept the Shah in power...despite the Shah's questionable human rights violations, the Assahola Blowmeni never would have came into power.

It was the most craven act of betrayal I have ever witnessed. Disgusting.

As far as the Shah's "Human Rights" violations, don't forget that he was defending Iran from a Islamo Fascist take over.

I think Andrea is noting that "Bush administration" should get the pronoun "its," to go with the singular verb "has failed."

Maybe "safer" is the typso, and the sentence was supposed to be "failed to make American safes."

It is time to finally say Yes, when frantic lefty loon Dems ask, ARE YOU QUESTIONING OUR PATRIOTISM? Yep, the nutty loons at Kos, in Hollywood, even in the Congress who continue to allow our secrets be spread all over the place so our enemies can find out our agendas; the lefty loons in the media who expose secret ways to bug the Islamofascists; the crazied phone callers to Talk Radio shows who opine conspiracies with Rove-Bush-and any other conservative as the real villains not the nice Islamos; every one of them are Quislings. Period. No more pulling punches. Ads should be run in campaigns saying that. Any Leftist Loon elected to offices would betray our nation just by being ideologically brainwashed not necessarily physically stealing, selling, or absconding with American military or political ways to defeat our national enemy. Any liberal Dem, and they run the Party, would endanger our nation. Period. Say it out loud. Yep, I am questioning your patriotism because I think insanity has enveloped your thinking processes!!!

Dixie Chick Natalie Maines: "The entire country may disagree with me, but I don't understand the necessity for patriotism. Why do you have to be a patriot? About what? This land is our land? Why? You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country… I don't see why people care about patriotism."

Me: You sure want to go on the record with that?

I just checked...nothing on Michael Moore's website to indicate anything about a terrorist plot.

Still the article crowing about Lieberman.

And before Clinton, too.

Yep, but their contempt really overflowed during that time. Things got a lot quieter for a bit when Reagan had Quadaffi's palace bombed. Things only really got going again after Mogodishu.

>>But am I the only one who beleives they weren't going to blow themselves up over the ocean, but wait until they were at the gate or just on approach?<<

That's what I thought, until I read that an informant said that one reason they wanted to do it over the ocean was to get rid of the evidence of how it was done.
