The Hollywood morons fly more than most of us. They are looking the death cult in the face.

Hollywood has not had a good couple of years and is in a cost-cutting mood. The bubblebrains would rather keep their Malibu mansions than further alienate their audience.

"Damn, Susan. How would you fight it?"

They'll fight it like they always do. On TV. In a half hour they'll convince the bad guys that there is a better way and convince them through dialogue and love that it wasn't their fault. It was the fault of the Christians and Conservatives. And the war on terror will come to and end. And there will be inspiring music, rainbows, bunnies, and happy faces all around.

They wanted to kill us before Bush, Afghanistan or Iraq. And they still want to kill us.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool, and Hollywood is filled with them.

Give it some time, they'll be preaching to us plebes that we should be more tolerant and understanding and a lot less closed-minded of the plight these Muslims go through, and that all of this could have been averted if Bush & Company hadn't taken us to war in Afghanistan and Iraq. I predict the first one to open their yap will be Sean Penn, or perhaps Martin Sheen.

"Damn, Susan. How would you fight it?"

"I would fight it with understanding, with love in my heart for fellow sojourners through this pilgrimage of life. I would listen to their pain and make it my own, in an ever widening circle of forgiveness. I love you guys of FR I really . One day you'll see we are all just children trying to find our ways through life and make million out of second rate films, er, I mean trying to find happiness. I know what is like to hold the hand of a friend and shoot the car off a cliff. Inside me I am at peace,. Dear Freepers I hope you can find it to, I really really really do. "

Give it a little time. As soon as they feel sure their personal safety isn't threatened, they'll start up again.

Where is the example where terrorism is successfully overcome by talking? Where is it, Ms. Sarandon?

This article is intellectually dishonest.

It's not like the media would swarm these celebs as they do a high government official within 24 hours to get their opinions and statements.

Give Mss. Streisand, Saradon & friends another 48 hours and the tabloids and blogs will be chuck full of their crappy views.

They will blame the war in iraq and other so-called 'failed' policies for this latest attempt by the British Pakistani muslims to blow up airliners.

Viacom ( think CBS) will be planting stories that will purport the well timed plot was launched to discredit their revisionist film The World Trade Center.

What was it that Chuck Schumer was complaining about at Heathrow yesterday? Its never about terrorism, its about some supposed inconvienance of the annointed/enlightened ones, or trampling/infringement of someones rights. Its never about the terrorism.

Like the question one of the Freepers posed to the international desk at NYT "You guys bummed out that you didn't get the information soon enough to print on the front page so as to warn the terrorists something was afoot?" The person who answered the phone responded: "What kind of question is that?" and hung up.

Bwahhahhahhahhahhah NYT reporter hangs up

Its never about the terrorism.

Don't you know what they think & will soon be saying....it's because of the Afghanistan & Iraq War...now you've got the Israeli War...that's what's stirred up all this. This is exactly what they'll say. Wait and see...justifying their stance against these wars and the present administration. It's a comin'...

My recollection of the news of 9/11 goes a little like this: I was awakened (In Savannah) by my wife who had been chatting on line with my brother (in Brussels). She was alerted to turn on the news as he saw it come across CNN. I watched the first couple of hours groggily - but remember distinctly a disproportionate amount of attention being given by Barbara Walters on ABC to a particular television industry executive who had been lost on one of the planes that struck the WTC. Granted he was someone she knew - but at that point it was not yet clear that there were not 20,000+ casualties at the WTC site. There is an incredibly unconscious sense of value that celebrities place on other celebrities - to the degree that the other citizens (fly over country, etc.) don't matter. It comes to light in the most grotesque manner (a la Baba Wawa) and it's absolutely sickening.

I keep hearing that statement, as if over the ocean, but wouldn't they create a more devastating results if they detonated the devices just before landing?

..."Susan Sarandon, who declared, at a peace rally in Washington after the war in Iraq commenced, that "terrorism cannot be fought with violence."

Liberal viewpoint: "Terrorism cannot be fought with violence, President Bush, but don't you dare try to fight it by invading our privacy by tapping phone lines or reading our private e-mails. We will trash you for taking away our rights if you try to fight terrorism with intelligence."

The terrorists are all about killing us. We're supposed to offer them flowers? Money? Candy? What kind of negotiations do these moonbats think the terrorists would accept? Weapons? Probably....then they would use our weapons to kill us. There is no other solution. It is a idealistic war. They hate us because we don't believe what they believe. Negotiations won't change that. Only if the U.S. was completely converted to Islam (which is their goal, I believe) will they stop killing us. Perhaps Ms. Sarandon would like to convert to Islam, to appease the terrorists.

Interesting that this huge attack was thwarted using wire taps and e-mail circumvention. Let's not forget that.
