I'm voting for Crist as well, but not too excited about it. I don't think he's really that conservative. I'm a lawyer at a law firm with about 120 lawyers. He came to our firm to drum up support, and most of his talk was him bragging about all the liberal things he's done as AG--all the businesses he's sued, etc. I remember him bragging for example about putting a restaurant out of business because one of the waitresses offended a black man. I don't have any problem with enforcing nondiscrimination laws, but the facts that he presented did not seem serious enough for the state to seize a restaurant with the forfeiture laws.
I guess you could assume that he was simply playing to the audience, but it still worries me.
I'm in Orlando and I too am voting for Crist.
I don't prefer him either, but if I'd easily vote for him over any Democrat, thats for sure. Thats how the game works..

I'm a longtime Floridian....30 years...and I WILL NOT be voting for him.
