Congresswoman isn't a bad job. Why was she in such a hurry to run for the Senate when she lacked the credibility as a candidate to do the job?

Spill the beans.... What do you know about this race? The latest Rasmussen had Perry at like 38% and the other three candidates each had 18% or so.
