i have yet to see a Freeper call the IDF cowards. i have seen many call Olmert a coward. i wouldn't go so far since he is seeing much more of the scene than FR folks like us are, but, it does look like Olmert and Halutz blew the game with a very weak, clintonesque (think Bosnia) IAF opening more.

On the thread where the Israeli government voted 24-0 in favor of the cease fire, there were comments to the effect of "they are all cowards", comparisons of Israel to France, and white flags posted. Maybe those comments were directed at the Israeli government and not the IDF.

The Israeli government is tasked with the life and death decision of cease fire too soon and cost Israeli lives or continue the war too long and cost Israeli lives, for freepers to call them cowards regardless of how they voted, in light of the fact that they just successfully fought a two front war, is at best uncalled for stupidity, and at worst fair weathered friends.
