Hey this was interesting for the first 20 minutes.

They make the very interesting point that the terrorists consider the cease fire a huge (that means HUGH for some of you...) victory. No Arab army has lasted 4 weeks against the Israelis.

They and there fund raising efforts have become high profile thanks to this.

This leads to the argument that negotiation with terrorists is acceptable, which could lead to big problems in the future.

The last 10 minutes which I fast forwarded through is a 'gay' middle eastern movie maker interview...

The first 20 minutes though are well worth while.

Thanks!

Hi, many thanks for the feedback, which is much appreciated. Personally, I am most excited about the final interview with the Indonesian filmmaker because he represents a large community of artists in the largest Muslim country on the planet that is fighting an indigenous fight against Islamic radicalism through their films - films that are local blockbusters. Their tactic is brilliant, really, and exposes, if you will forgive the pun, the limp-wristed stance that the Indonesian government is taking vis-a-vis Islamic fascists. Indonesia is heading towards the implementation of shari'a on a national level and these moderate Muslim filmmakers are the ones doing something about it. We often ask why we cannot hear the moderate Muslim voice speaking out against intolerance and radicalism. Well, in the case of Indonesia we need not look any further than folks like Joko Anwar.
