Bombing plot foiled despite NY Times assistance to it's terrorist allies.

Thank God that Dick Durbin, Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer aren't in charge of British Intel, or we'd have 3,000 dead passengers.

Not that they care, they just want Bush dead.

So the questions are - Are you willing to adopt British anti-terror methods which allow the government to:
(1) obtain a warrant with reasonable suspicion as opposed to probable cause?
(2) hold suspects for up to 28 days without charges as opposed to 48 hours here in the US?

Precisely. The Left, the New York Times, and the ACLU are enemies of Liberty and Freedom.

Will the New York Times write stories on how eavesdropping is what alerted U.S. authorities to the terrorist airplane attack? Time magazine reported in an exclusive that the "U.S. picked up the suspects' chatter and shared it with British authorities."

No, the New York Time's advertisers don't need the 62 million plus conservative customers -- so the Times won't bother with this story...

This is exactly what I've been arguing with liberals about for months now. They don't like the Patriot act, they don't like wiretapping, they don't like monitoring bank records and they don't like profiling. However when I've asked theses morons how they would deal with int'l terrorism NOTHING silence, they got nothing to offer.I'd rather be alive with above mentioned tactics then dead with what libs DON"T have to offer !!!

This tidbit of info first broke the other day on FOX News (where else). If Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi had their way, the Patriot Act would have been killed. It was the Brit's "Patriot Act-type" surveillance that foiled the Terror in the Skies Plot. If the GOP doesn't capitalize on this before November 7, they deserve a good butt whoopin'.
