And I think the list could go on, and on about preferred people. Preachers get visas and can stay, Prostitues can't. In Mexico we have our preferred lists of people, and history has been very harsh on people with black skin wanting to migrate to Mexico. Uhmnn.

Poland, which ordered troops to Iraq too, would like better immigration benefits. Polish citizens who want to visit the United States are irked that they have to get tourist visas. They want to be part of America's "visa waiver" program, along with 27 other staunch U.S. allies. Citizens of those countries need only a passport to visit the United States.

Firstly, there is some major twisting in this article.
Secondly, Poland receives far more than it's fair share of legal immigrant visas. Indeed, they received more than anyone in Europe. The followng statistics are for 2005.

Germany 2,666
Great Britan and Northern Ireland 3,225
Italy 552
Poland 7,008
Romonia 3,106
Russia 6.361
Serbia and Montengero 1,064
Turkey 1,530
Ukraine 5,503

Total for Europe 52,102
The real problem is Europe is not allocated very many visas, when compared to Mexico and other Latin countries. In the last 15 years over 1.8 times as many Mexicans have been given immigrant visas as all of Europe combined.

Canada 2,240
Cuba 3,417
Dominican Republic 21,839
El Salvador 5,862
Guatemala 6,238
Haiti 7,126
Honduras 3,725
Jamaica 9,724
Mexico 36,381
Trinidad and Tobago 1,933

Totals for North America 103,,246

Totals for Africa 34,092

Totals for Asia 172,444

Totals for Europe 52,102

Totals for Oceania 2,508

Totals for South America 30,498
