But what the hey the MSM has to get the latenet racists dander up somehow.
That is true, alot of Florida Hispanics (most?) are of Cuban descent. I'd say half of those could pass for "white bread" Americans. They are also quite Conservative.
This trend doesn't bother me too much, what concerns me is how assimilated these people are. The more the better, of course, but I dont mind if they retain some elements of the home culture (Yummy foods, hot women, LOL).
Just for the record, I am one of the "browns", or whatever it is they call me. Born and raised in the USA, love football, hotdogs, and apple pie. I speak perfect english, people that I meet online or over the phone are often shocked to see that I am hispanic, because I come across as so "American" otherwise. I like it that way.
Yep, Cuban Republicans, and retired white folks make up a large voting block. The Children many of whom are of mixed blood, as most of us in America are, should be counted how?
If one has some hispanic heritage but looks white and is educated in a conservative home as many are, but are counted as hispanic, are they really represented, by this trash of a report.
I would believe that going back as fars as 50 years we would find that mixed heritage has dominated the American landscape, without having a racial category.
So the fear mongers and racial agitators should get a life.
