I kinda like your "Die Hippie, Scum" flavored title. CK is spot on in his analysis...This naivete in the service of endless accommodationism recalls also the flaccid foreign policy of the post-Vietnam Democratic left.

Thank you   :-) Although it's now been changed because my original post was in error (the previous title was given to the same article as posted in the Seattle Times) I liked it better too, and if I had known that the Houston Chronicle also had to be excerpted here at FR I would have stayed with the Seattle Times version just so that I could have kept the title    :-)
