Whoa, anyone else just catch that segment? That lawyer dude was out of control and couldn't make a logical, rational statement in defense of NOT [terrorist] profiling.

The "It's a CODE WORD" reference to "terrorist profiling" had me rolling on the floor here in my hotel.

Leo Terrell went nuts, as usual.

Leo Terrell. He's always a raving maniac.

BTW, he never makes any sense - just a lot of noise.

As others have noted, Leo Terrell has a hard time making a logical, rational statement about anything. The guy regularily hangs up on Sean (during his radio program) when he gets flustered.

It's a CODE WORD"

He was wrong on this. There are Code Words for racial profiling and they are; "Affirmative Action".

I saw how quickly Colmes mentioned the internment of the Japanese in 1942. However there wasn't a word about the Germans and Italians who were interned in the camps in Texas.

Alan doesn't like to get bogged down with facts...eats up too much of his interview time.

They're Euro-stock, they don't count anymore.

Racial profiling could play in the hand of the terrorists because they know that people will be offended if they are profiled, but with that said what else can be done?

The racial profiling reaction maybe their overall plan, because if it was really about taking down aircraft, they could easily check baggage with explosives in the cargo hold with a timer to go off.

But instead they continue to try to smuggle in their personal carry on items of terror, knowing full well that we will overreact by personal search and profiling, yet what else are we supposed to do, since there are no instances of Scandinavian grandmothers trying to hijack planes with their knitting needles!

Whoa, this is a new one to me.

We had some first generation Germans living near us in the '30's in SW Oklahoma, and they weren't bothered by any authorities.

In fact, their son was a friend of mine. He enlisted in the Army Air Force, and flew 25 missions over Germany as a B17 gunner.

But some of the captured German and Italian solders, POW's, were brought to the States and held in POW camps in Texas and Oklahoma. Could this be whereof you speak?

Did Colmes fail to mention that there was a Democrat in the White House in 1942 as well?

Leo is nearly always out of control. He has even gotten up and walked off the set. The only time He has been on the side of conservatives is on Justice Janice Brown. He thinks she should get picked - great judge.
