Had a great time. Went to Sturgis, Yellowstone, Deadwood, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse. It was the longest vacation Mr Gracie1 and I had together, (and no kids!).
Sounds wonderful.
Bet you had a relaxing vacation for a change.
Well, 1000+ on the back of a harley, plus 2400 in the car is fun. Don't know how relaxing it is though.

My friend and I would like to attend the picnic. We a somewhat new to freeper and pretty quiet on the front so to speak, but we read the articles and have some pretty passionate discussions. What is the "Member in good standing?" Would it best if we held of this years event and get more involved, or would we be welcome although we are pretty much "unknowns"?
You would be very welcome at both the picnic and the rally.
What better way to get involved, meet wonderful people and enjoy some great tri-tip?

When I read your note a huge smile went on my face. It seems like I am at an advantage to you, soldiersprayingmom, syncro, Jim, mama_bear, jmpmstr4u2, and of course the numerous others because of your frequent posts.
We will come and enjoy the good company we know already exists. We'll talk about the food portion as the event gets closer.

We are planning to do the whole enchilada! I don't want to do a long drive and not experience the whole gusto. I have been looking at room reservations recommended to La Enchilada, and we will most likely stay at one of them. Thanks again for embracing the meeker freepers too.
That is great ...... we should have an excellent turn out.
My only regret is the peacenics leave at 6:30 so they may not get to enjoy the youth's show of patriotism.

I had a bullhorn for the freeps. Haven't seen it since I moved to the mountains, but will look for it tomorrow!!
Although we agree politically, Mrs. DFU never gets involved in these things and has warned me not to get arrested while FReeping. She won't bail me out.
