"Are we waiting for the August 22 Iran reply to the UN regarding their nuke capabilities? Why wait, let's take them out now and spare the suspense."
Everywhere I discuss this, the debate usually runs this spectrum: from the Democrats in denial, who think diplomacy should should go on ad naseum and think Iran is another propaganda device for more war(these same people often refer to Hezzies as a social netweork). Then there's Bush's staunch supporters, who believe that diplomacy will go on as long as it has to, but that those in Bush's admin. know every angle of the situation, wiegh their strategies, and force will be used when the time is appropriate. Then there's those on the right who are labeled more "hard-line" who think that the longer we wait to deal with Iran, the more problematic the situation becomes. In other words, take them out asap. They still respect the president but wish he would be even more aggressive than he already is. The Israel/Hezbollah conflict seems to follow the same line of debate.
I must be a hardliner then. Why wait for the inevitable? How many times does Almadinanutjob need to say DEATH TO ISRAEL DEATH TO AMERICA before we take him seriously? He wants a fight, let's give him what he wants. So for me, it's DEATH TO ISLAMIC FACISTS everywhere. I don't care where they live.
