He has a real scary look in his eyes. They look dead, vacant kinda' like shark eyes. I don't know if he looks like he has AIDS or not. He's thin, but otherwise appears healthy.

Anyways take a look at his eyes next time.

US law enforcement overseas is represented by FBI agents assigned as 'Legats' (Legal Attaches) assigned to the various embassies.
I imagine a few are leg hanging political types, but be assured the majority of them have some street smarts.

But most of all, they operate under the main rule of DO NOT EMBARASS THE BUREAU.

While I'm withholding judgment, I do have confidence in the Bureau.

The company quarterly report was Lockheed's. There aren't any separate items of minute details like that for the smallest subsidiary.

Besides, the value changed on a daily basis. That just happened to be what it was on December 25, 1996. It was the cops who figured it out.

No way Karr went out and got a Lockheed annual or quarterly report and somehow figured up what percentage of a bonus based on which reporting of sales revenue or net profit John might have gotten and then looked up the stock prices for that day and figured it up. No way *anybody* did that.

What the Probate Judge Bozeman said should read "delivered ALL his children," as that is what she said in other interviews.

He also had another one in CA that no one in the media has really elaborated on - the one in Santa Rosa, which also got his credentials revoked in that district.

It had to do with controlled substances and minors (a bunch of different possibilities among those addressed in the clause, so I won't speculate).

I'm really wondering if those porn pix weren't of JonBenet, as that was the time when he was so "into" the case so heavily "for his book." That may be why he told his father he was being held in the murder of JonBenet - he was arrested for pix that somehow related to her case.

If he could buy Polly Klaas's death certificate, he certainly might have bought some of that weird hearse-driver's photos of dressed up corpses in Boulder - or, wait, maybe those discarded autopsy photos someone found in the trash behind the photo developers' in Boulder.

They may not be porn, but having them is certainly obscene.

No, the stock options as bonuses have to be publicly reported. It maybe obscure to the average citizen, but that kind of stuff is standard news fodder for stock analysts and could have been reported any number of trade publications.

It it was not a secret or private information. Did the stock value even flucuate between the 1st and 4th quarters of 96 that would have substantially changed it's rounded out value of $118,000?

I don't think the writer of the note pulled the number out of a hat, but I also don't think it indicates Ramsey involvement either. Only that the note writer/killer had been studying their family and may have used the number to indicate exactly that.

The killer may not have been somebody the Ramseys knew, but it most certainly was somebody who had gotten to know them.

Sure, if you want to think a pedo who wanted to kidnap or molest or kill JonBenet stopped first to look up on Edgar the insider postings, go right ahead.

I just think that's bull. Several adults in that household had a pretty good idea what the round number was.

Thanks. Funny thing was that a San Francisco paper changed Quientana's marrying age from 13 down to 12, lol.

All the others say 13 (and Karr was saying she was older than that, of course), so I don't know why they said 12, except it sounds so much worse!

Several adults in that household had a pretty good idea what the round number was.

So they used in a ransom note to throw suspicion off themselves. They were too clever by half. I don't know what the killers motivation was, it may have not been a pedophile killing, but an old fashioned revenge killing made to look like a botched kidnapping (which would implicate JR, in that he knew who and why). I just don't think it was the parents in this particular case, anymore than I thought the Van Damms were guilty of killing Danielle. Have serious doubts that Karr is the killer also, based on the ex-wifes alibi. It's a curious case.

Let's see- you posted to me around 8 last night and it's now 1:30AM my time - my patience has just about run out now, lol! There are 26 active threads on this now.

I don't have that many answers, but I do see people getting some one thing slightly off and taking it off in another direction. If I know the correction to it, I'll say so - then they can make a better decision on the scenario that is playing out here.

After 10 years, most people have been exposed to the basics of the case, so they ought to have absorbed it by osmosis! Anyhoo, you're welcome!

Haven't heard the news today but I've been thinking about this guy. I think he said what he said just to get his butt out of Thailand. They may have something on him there and he lied to get out of there ASAP.

" I would have pulled the switch on both of the Ramseys years ago.... one hand .... ham sandwich ..... etc....."

Can you answer my question then that I posed in post # 244?
