No oil? No problem!

No foreign made goods? More for Americans.

We don't need to import no stinking chromium, cobalt, manganese, aluminum, nickel, we'll do without!

I think you're exxaggerating just a tad.

Trade goes on as usual, the USA is THE #1 market in the world for all the goods and services you just mentioned.

You'd have to produce some very reliable and objective studies be fore you could put forth a truly convincing argument that everyone in the world would try to manage NOT selling to the US.

The premise is simple:

Until the "War on Terror" is won, The United States will not permit foreign tourism, work permits, students, or even diplomats on our soil.

I think there might be some increased interest in some parts of the world to step up and really do something to end the "war on terror," don't you?
