McCain is a creep!
I promise to do all I can to see that John McCain does NOT receive the Republican nomination.

Actually, between Gregory and Mitchell, I'd rather see Gregory. He's careful with his facial expressions and doesn't get too out there with his personal distate for the victim, er guest.

Russert was on CNBC, I didn't watch though. Immediately switched to something else.

Smell the fear.

I love the smell of fear in the media.  It smell like... victory!

Isn't it interesting that most of the people who are grumbling about Israel leaving Lebanon before Hezzbollah was destroyed are the same people who are demanding we leave Iraq now!

Did the MTP panel include the "Dean of the Washington press corps" (Broder)?

I never read him anymore (he's long outgrown that appelation), but I was interested in what he had to say today about the guv race in Michigan. Dem Granholm is in trouble...and guess how Broder attributes those troubles.

But the past four years of confronting a Republican Legislature and a declining auto industry have taken a toll on Granholm's standing here at home, and the latest economic news comes at a bad time, just as her re-election campaign is gearing up.
Interesting the way he prioritized her "troubles".

I was so very impressed with the way Tony Snow refuted that 'frustrated' lie about the President's meeting with the scholars.

Nice thoughtful posting and all valid points, Miss Marple. Thanks.

Regarding Jimmy Carter, I saw that even his son (running for senate) had to distance from his father's view on Israel.

Well, in a weird way it is consistent, isn't it? In other words, everything the Jews do is wrong, and everything the President does is wrong.

I suspect that while Matthews and assorted other leftist.....talk the talk, they must be terrified in their hearts of the democrats being responsible for homeland security.

McCain states that his priority will be to consult with our allies, then he complains that the French are not meeting their commitments.

That proves that McC is simply talking without thinking.......as usual.

he is being trained by the NBC Makeover People

^^^^^

maybe it's just a makeover in the Greta van Sustern -- what did you do when you were off air --- way. Someone who watches his show will have to report whether he still has the same bags and wrinkles when he returns.
