A.Hun wrote an open letter to the President below are some responses I have made to it.

Quite a letter A. Hun!

By the way I would not like GW's job for all the tee in China.

In your request for GW to come out and really stick it to the media I think the best we will get is Tony Snow.I think it's all too obvious he too is sick of the lies and distortions of the DBM and to counter it he has made Tony his press spokesperson. I know the PC talk that often comes from the Whitehouse is not what we want to hear but let's hope Tony makes a huge difference.

I too would like to see all the info about WMD's which really do exist, to be released. However whether to do it now or sometime in 08 could easily be a political strategy that is way over my pay grade. And when it come to political strategy it's hard to beat GW.

On foreign policy I would normally agree that listening to the State dept. can be a waste of time but since Condi now head it up I think we are as in as good a hands as possible. I trust her explicitly. I think GW does as well. Next to GW Condi is also a brilliant strategist. Yo have to remember that they both are tasked with making the best calls they can in a world that is so screwed up it's almost a jig saw puzzle.

In some cases no matter what call Condi makes she will be pilloried. If she supports Israel in flogging the hezzies she gets flack from many, if she doesn't she gets flack from many more.

As MNJ so often says, GW is president of all the people as is Condi, Sec. of State of the entire nation and doing the will of GW.

Chances are good the hezzies will screw up again and when they do there is a good chance Olmert will have learned his PC lesson and will turn the IDF loose and clear out Lebanon.

As far a putting more troops into Iraq I think the game plan there is to create as many Iraqi soldiers as possible to replace our troops asap. Besides GW relies on Abizaid to advise him on troop strength. He will probably listen to his generals in the field instead of the many armchair Monday morn qb.s that are out there now. Remember fighting an asymmetrical war is no easy task.

As far as what to do with Iran it's over my pay grade again. Rather than destroy their oil refining capabilities I would like to see us go whole hog in producing every type of energy as fast as we can regardless of where it is located.

On the border issue we need to enforce laws on the books and build a fence/wall. I hope it happens, but if it doesn't, it's beginning to happen(immigration/border control) locally in cities and towns around the country. We may have to settle for that. I want more, but I don't know if I will get it.

Thanks rodguy, and I considered every point you mention when I wrote it.

I nearly always give the President the benefit of the doubt in all policies, but conservatives are being swamped by the opposition rhetoric. The wild rhetoric of the left is constantly replayed, while the sensible rhetoric of the right is ignored. I would like to see some inflammatory rhetoric from the White House.

I am sick of negotiating with b*stards. We should only spend time negotiating where there is a chance of progress.

The status quo with Iran is going to allow them to get nuclear weapons. Diplomacy has been exhausted unless Iran does a 180. Just as Bush forced Saddam into a corner with troops ringing him, he will have to force Nutjob's hand.

On immigration, I have wanted a complete solution, but that is not going to happen. Once again, we cannot allow the status quo, which means nothing gets done.

Thanks for your critique.

I have read that the White House has started putting out fast responses via email to misinformation in the press. I wonder if there's a way for us to subscribe to that and start posting them here?

I'm pinging Tony as his account still seems active and he may have someone monitoring it.
