I'm with you on that!Lived very near the port of Olympia WA.Some of the 'things' pulled out of the water was some nasty looking stuff.The water was nasty by itself,let alone,eating what grew in it.I recall seeing my first gooey duck[sp].Sea food being a main fare in the local restaurants,I looked at the price and it was $17.00 for a serving of it!All I could think of,it reminded me of a large garden slug.I am allergic to sea food,so I am safe.Wife likes a lot of the 'strange food'.Frog legs.alligator tail,and other french type foods.I did try some prawns once,and became very ill.Twenty four hours of extreme sickness came upon me.I never knew the human body could do certain multiple functions at the same time!

If you are allergic to seafood, you are probably allergic to iodine. If so, certain medical tests - kidney, I believe - use protein bound iodine . . .an allergic reaction for you.
