The Herring family is all too familiar with the ruthless, unimaginably violent actions of a girl gang that has taken to terrorizing Dorchester in recent months.
In March, 8-year-old Daryus Herring - that’s right, a little 8-year old boy - was surrounded and stomped by the girls that call themselves the Crown Path gang. The attack left the child unconscious with four broken ribs.
Days later, the same girls tried to beat up the boy’s big sister - 13-year-old Shaquice Herring - after she asked them, “Which one of you jumped my brother?” The wannabe girl gangsters responded by throwing punches and rocks.
But the most shocking incident at the hands of the Crown Path girls came last Wednesday, when 16-year-old Shelly Herring, who was holding her infant daughter in her arms, was stabbed in the stomach while escorting her little brother and sister so “they wouldn’t get run up on” by the Crown Path girls.

If these girls had 'midnight softball' this would have never happened.
16 year old with a baby? Let's just take a guess at the demographics of the gang members who went on the attack.
Suppose any of them live with their biological dads?
How many of the teenage gang members have mothers in their 20s and 30s and grandparents only in their 40s?
No one in the gang is directly responsible for their own individual behavior. Ganging up and 'double-boot stomping' a chosen victim is just a fad the kids are growing through. Soon, they'll move on to more hideous behavior and that'll be OK with the local government too.

There does seem to be a lot of thought put into naming their children.......If the article didn't tell us this was a girl, I'd sure never be able to figure it out!
There was a guy competeing in a track-meet in Austin a few years ago whose name was Shithead (pronounced 'sha-theed').

There was a set of twins born at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston during the late 50's. They were named Silpheelus and Gonoreah, pronounced: Sil' fe lus, and Go NOR' e ah,
They have neither respect of life nor fear of reprisals. This is how society breeds killers.
We need vigilantes to do what the left has undone.
What a horrible story. Over the years I have twice read Gita Sereny's book Cries Unheard. Unbelievable that a ten year old girl should have such malice.
Her crimes took place in a rough area of Newcastle upon Tyne. One of the city's main hospitals is located near by. I happened to be going to visit an aunt in that hospital during Mary Bell's trial and some of the victims' family were on the same bus. I will never forget the looks on their faces.
In high school, I heard of two girls named Siphylis(suh-fillus), & Gongolea. At the time, I thought it was a joke. I'm not so sure anymore.
I remember a black professional football player whose first name was Semian. As he was a college graduate, I felt sorry for him.
It truly is a strange, & often sad, world.
Well, I don't think W has much say in this problem as this is happening in England. Maybe Blair is allowing it to happen through his association with Bush.
