IMO Iran will announce some further development in its nuclear weapons program. They've hyped things before. At most it will be their first nuclear weapons test. Or North Korea will test one. The nuclear weapons programs of Iran and North Korea have IMO been effectively merged.
A nuclear weapons test by either will be pretty apocalyptic. IMO within about 100 days thereafter, +/- 30 days, the complete plutonium stocks of each will have been fabricated into missile-ready nuclear warheads almost identical to the designs China gave Pakistan 10-12 years ago. That's about 10-15 missile warheads in the 30-60kt yield range. Khan sold the Chinese warhead designs to NK, Iran, Libya, etc.

1. Terrorists will probably attack Israel with WMD on 8/21 or 8/22. Most likely time is on 8/21 between 9 AM and 2 PM US Pacific Time. This time corresponds to the Islamic religious holiday of the night of Rajab 27, which begins at sunset local time (ie around 9 AM PT US). The terrorists/Iran would want the Muslim world to be awake to witness the news, so I would guess around 11 AM US PT is the highest risk (ie 9 PM local time—around 90 mins after sunset).Now that it is 10 minutes past doomsday, does this mean,..Oh well, nevermind...?
