"I don’t reference all my sources in the interest of space."

Do you have a website where I can look at the sources for
the analysis you posted?

Interesting, but you contradict some of your predictions, you are all over the map, so to speak, but most all are indeed logical. Are you a Libra? jk.

I predict nothing will happen, except the usual high tension and maybe some shots fired between hezbollah and Israel.

Other cities with higher risk are unclear but probably include the big ones and/or with large Jewish populations: Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Miami, Houston, San Francisco, etc.

Baltimore.

Ahh, hell, and I'm going to Disneyland in a few hours. Hope they wait until the fireworks are over with before they nuke us.

If the US got a sniff about this, Iran would be a radioactive crater. Nuclear weapons are unique in the United States arsenal. They require only one man to give permission to use them, that's the sitting President of the United States. At any moment, we have sea based launchers ready and able to launch their full payload, hitting their targets within 40 minutes (an hour clock, if you count prep time.)

Nothing demonstrates to me that there isn't a secretary of defense nor a president ready, willing and able to order a strike, should it become necessary. And nothing in your breakdown indicates that the Iranians or anyone else is stupid enough to not realize that the one response the United States has made clear will always come from the use of WMDs against itself or it's allies.

They will not be attacking us, nor Israel with WMDs.

The core of your analysis is entirely plausible, and well within the scope of beliefs and acceptable conduct of a radical Muslim.

Iranians/Syrians may have enough sense to know Israel would completely nuc them in response.

Other problem is that US economy is so tightly wired together and area interdependent that one nuc on Wall Street, Capitol Hill, Chicago train yards or other such areas would so disturb everything that there would be no food, etc in a short time. They can live as independent tribes in desert. We cannot.

I'm worried about midnight, Israeli time.

Since this is about 48 hours away (U.S. EST), maybe somebody should start a live "Doomsday Thread?"

About nuking Israel: the fallout and effects of the blast would also affect portions of neighboring Lebanon and Syria, killing countless Muslims. Supposedly most Muslims don't share the extremists' apocalyptic desire to die.

So I doubt if anything on that scale happens. But by your timeline, in a few hours we'll know more.

We are coming into "the Day of the Lord", not the "Day of Muhammad". The God of the Bible will dictate what Iran and all the Islamic nations can and can't do. Many people don't realize that angels can take human form. God can send an angel to talk to any man and tip him off to any plan of the terrorists. He knows the plans of every terrorist on the planet, and can expose them with angels anytime. That is why it is so important to pray and ask for Divine help, no matter what the scale of the problem. He is always ready and willing to assist, if we only ask Him. When we ignore him, and try to do it on our own, is when we get into trouble.

Interesting points. I find it hard to believe however that anyone, no matter how fanatical, would plan an offensive (or counter-offensive) with an unproven new weapon (nuclear). Iran or its supplier must prove their weapons actually work before they can bet the farm on them. I would expect Iran to wait until the N.K. test or their own test, however it may all depend on how Iran became nuclear. They could have purchased nukes from countries with established track records (ex = Pakistan, France, Russia), but the ramifications of such a purchase would be truly devastating for the world.

This is stupid.

Iran is smart enough to know the threat of force is always more powerful than the application of force.

What the recent war between Israel and Lebanon proved was Hezbollah is stronger than we thought, and Israel is weaker than we thought.

The War in Iraq is displaying the limitations of American military power every day.

Iran has power now because nobody really knows what it can do. The moment they remove the fog, we'll have them right where we want them.

Not to forget September 8, 2006 [18 days left]! Imam Mahdi's birthday! Maybe Iran wants total nuclear world war for September 8, so the Mahdi arrives on his birthday! Iran nukes Israel today [or tomorrow night], and so it starts. On 8 September, when the world is in total chaos, the Mahdi arrives [Ahmadinejad thinks, perhaps].

Newbie makes unsourced predictions.

1. If he's right he'll be proclaimed a genius.
2. If he's wrong, he will be quickly forgotten.

No reputation at risk. Nothing to lose. Lots to gain.

I ain't buyin' it.
