Iraqi regime led by Saddam Hussein was secularist, westernizing and semi-socialist. This was the reason why Ronald Reagan supported Saddam Hussein. Removal of Iraqi regime opened way for radical Islamists.

Just to give you a hint, check the country origin of the WTC bombers.

Reagan supported Saddam in fighting Iran. He stopped fighting them. Radical Islamists existed decades before 2003. Now they are concentrating on getting us out of Iraq and foiling our plans there. This is preferable to having them everywhere else.

Not only that but Saddam has his hand in several terrorist acts and plots against the US including the WTC1, attempts against exPresident Bush's life, and, from all appearances, the Oklahoma City bombing.

Your "hint" only leads to the conclusion that you are deliberately distorting what happened. OBL is no fool and recruited people he knew would have no problem getting into the US. Saudis were privileged because there was no fear of them becoming illegal aliens. Their special travel arrangements made Saudis ideal for this purpose.

Now you would not be DELIBERATELY distorting these issues now would you? It is hard to believe anyone could get so much wrong by accident.
