TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran handed over on Tuesday its response to a nuclear package aimed at allaying Western fears that Tehran seeks to build atomic bombs, Irans state-run Arabic-language Al-Alam television reported.
It said Ali Larijani, Irans chief nuclear negotiator, had handed the response to envoys representing the six nations in Tehran at the Supreme National Security Council, which handles the nuclear file. It did not give details of the reply.

Iran hinted Tuesday that its response to a Western incentive package aimed at persuading it to roll back its nuclear program would include constructive ideas that it hopes will open the way for negotiations.
Wow, a breakthrough, "constructive ideas that it hopes will open the way for negotiations" - peace in our time.
Let us hope these idiots aren't really big fans of Japanese history.
Foxtrot Oscar!
That will make the French happy anyways.
The United States should start bombing Iran's nuclear development sites right away, and keep bombing them until they have been totally destroyed.
I was thinking the same thing.
I just hope it's not overly verbose and transmitted in six parts.
I believe the response will contain just enough carrots (agreements to some points) that will stave off any actions against Iran -- to the disagreement of the US of course. The UN accept this as an action of good faith and will recommend further negotiations. Look for us to be criticized once again for trying to initiate and agressive measures against Iran...
The response will contain a lot of ambiguity that will have more delay tactics and as expected it will appeal greatly to the Europeans, the Russians and the Chinese. I hope that the US will tell them Screw You, let the confrontation begins.
Agreed 100%.
So just what are we prepared to do about this?? I think the response is pre-ordained, so how much time do we waste at the UNSC this time??
Another stalling tactic. Surely we are not going to buy this.
