I wouldn't say that either.

Judicial nominees have to go through congress, the military is funded by congress, plus if the Dims won, they'd immediately start impeachment proceedings against Bush. Furthermore, if (Heaven help us) a Dim were to win in '08 we'd be right back where we started...during JIMMY CARTER's administration! The idiots would be in charge of everything.

Not that being blown up or beheaded for my faith (Christianity) after the terrorists take over just so I could teach John McCain a lesson because John Kerry and his ilk don't remotely have the good sense to defend our country doesn't sound fun and all...

Terrible idea.

I'm with everybody else. If you want to teach the Rinos a lesson, do it during the primaries. If you didn't do it during the primaries, too bad. Better luck next time. Replacing lethargic representation with outright BAD representation that you MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET RID OF isn't the way to fix it.

Ask Arkansas. We voted out Hutchinson to teach him a lesson and now we're stuck with Pryor instead, who we may or may not ever vote out again now that he's in there. *argh!*

Well, I must live in a bad neighborhood. I wasted a vote on Ross Perot one year, deciding to go for "dramatic change" (he won me over with the chicken charts).

I've not had the opportunity to vote for a newbie that could win, as the Democrat who defeated the incumbent always had the benefit of the "vote for change" voters, and the newbie was seen as "same as the incumbent RINO". It may happen somewhere, but not with regularity, for sure.

Actually, many of us don't consider that the lesser States we take in this turn, the faster RINOs will take control of the GOP.

"In truth, the Republican Party in the last two years has done what it regarded as the absolute minimum necessary to pacify its values voter base. Sadly, that pacification has come cheap."

That statement and your comment (while I am in agreement) sure will earn you the scorn of some folks around here.

Get out your flame retardant flak jacket.

"My take as a 'Value voter' is that if the demo's take over I will not see the kind of supreme court judge appointed that will be able to overturn all of these extra-constitutional grabs that either party make. The judiciary is the most important issue right now!"

Do you think Rudy's judicial appoints would be any different than Hillary's.

The unmistakable message has been that the party values money over votes.

Ya think? Well golleeee! Who'da thunk?

We're down to the same ol' choice people. "Lesser of the two" and it has always been. There is nothing new under the sun.

I urge you all to vote the bastards out to make room for the new bastards. (I am not complaining. I just see.)

Our hope is in Him and ourselves.

Have you forgotten what came after Carter? We had reaganism sweep the land after Carter showed the country what Dummycrat rule means for our country. Lest we forget, remember things were looking pretty bleak when Clinton slithered into Washington...Seams we had a Republican sweep in 1994...I even remember some Dummycrats arguing that they were as conservative as anybody. I say stay home and watch the carnage on election night...We'll come back stronger in 2008!
