Crist says "I'm pro-life, I'm pro-life, I'm pro-life. And if Roe v Wade is ever overturned I won't change the law." It's exactly what John Kerry said "I Lurch am strongly against abortion but I believe it should be legal. So sayeth Lurch."
Gallagher has a better plan for property taxes but regardless, Crist can't be trusted. He wants to pass all kinds of spending ammendments. He'll soon find that he doesn't have enough to balance the budget and he'll quickly retract on any cuts, even to counties (so the state doesn't have to fork over more to them).

Gallagher wins second debate big: Shows more command on taxes and insurance and proves Crist is a liberal on abortion and gay marriage
For the second straight time, Tom soundly defeated Charlie in a face-to-face debate. Tom showed us all why this election is so important and why we need to work as hard as we can for the next two weeks. When Tom wins, we’ll get more of the leadership we’ve enjoyed under Jeb Bush: principled, courageous, pro-life and fiscally conservative. What we don’t need is a governor who is pro-choice, pro-gay civil unions and pro-amnesty.
On taxes, Tom showed that he’s the only candidate with a plan that would help all taxpayers (including businesses and renters) and that would rein in out-of-control spending by local governments. By contrast, Charlie’s plan does nothing to control spending and would only lead to a reshuffling—rather than a lowering—of the tax burden.
Tom showed that Charlie’s repeated claim never to have supported a tax increase is utterly false. When Tom reminded Charlie of Charlie’s support for higher taxes on sugar and rental cars, Charlie had no response.
And on the critical issue of fiscal discipline, Charlie once again failed the test of being a true conservative. Just like Bill McBride four years ago, Charlie supports the budget-busting Class Size Amendment but cannot tell the voters how he intends to pay for it.
On insurance, Tom showed that he’s the only candidate with a firm grasp of the issues and a plan to begin solving the crisis our state is in today. By contrast, Charlie merely parroted ideas that Tom has already put forth and offered no constructive vision of his own. After three years of regulating the insurance industry in our state, Charlie still doesn’t get it.
And on social issues, the differences couldn’t have been more obvious. When Tom asked Charlie to explain what he would do to reduce abortion in our state, Charlie had no answer. When Tom asked Charlie to explain why he joins Howard Dean in supporting civil unions, Charlie had no answer.
It’s now plain for all to see: Tom is pro-life, Charlie is pro-choice; Tom supports traditional marriage; Charlie supports civil unions for homosexuals; Tom opposes embryonic stem cell research because it would destroy human life; Charlie supports it and wants all of us to pay for it.
We’ve got two weeks left to go. We must to do everything we can to help Tom win, so that our great state and party will continue to have the leadership they deserve.

I noticed that since the televised debate Tuesday night, most of Charlie Crist's scout troop has departed from Free Republic. He never had more than a scout troop that would fit in a mini-van here.
