The mistake was ever allowing popular vote in the first place. The founding fathers knew that allowing popular vote invited bidding by use of the public funds would corrupt the process as it has. Popular vote also allows those to vote who have no idea of the political consequences to determine leadership as has occurred. The dumb determine the winners and vote for those who give them the most. The democratic party understands this very well.

I agree was a big mistake. Cause we can`t trust the Rats and, because I`m not sure about the rest of you, my vote should be the only one that counts.

You are correct about people voting for whoever gives them the most. I wonder who the Illegals will vote for once the Dems give them the right to vote. Their vote could tip TX, seal California and provide a Democratic stronghold in a number of other southern states. This play is obvious on their part and well worth avoiding if possible.
