A few tidbits on Ed Norton:
"It's nice being in Europe this week. Almost everyone in Germany and France is in sync with the governments. I almost forgot what it's like to be proud of my government."

"I hope the world community will continue to voice itself and apply pressure on the U.S. government. American citizens have to do it too. It's dismaying to see the unilateralism that the government is doing. They're aren't enough rational steps."

"As an actor I know in my mind, watching him [Bush], what a low-quality mind he has. Because I've been doing this since I was 5 years old, I know when a person is saying words that aren't their own -- and it's apparent as it could possibly be to me that he's a mouthpiece, and not even a good mouthpiece. [Ronald] Reagan was a B-movie actor, but at least he had the ability to touch certain emotional notes. Bush is just utterly incapable of it."

Makes sense. Cruise, like any other actor, is getting paid what he's worth, regardless of whether the film he's in is a blockbuster or a flop.
I wonder if all HollyWood stars are worryied?
According to imbd he's 44. He's already outlived his boyish smile and even chicks aren't gonna believe a 50 year old can be rehabilitated by the love of a good woman.
maybe he could try to bring in older women say like in there 30's?
My guess is they're probably not. There are enough studios in Hollywood that one of them is bound to sign Cruise to a contract.
Wow, good thing I don't count on him for political commentary.
Having known quite a few actors, I've learned not to take advice from them on anything other than fictional character analysis.
Yeah
Ken Watanabe was the great actor in that film. Tom Cruise was just along for the ride. He is sometimes good (I liked him in Collateral, for example) but The Last Samurai was all Ken Watanabe.
Teens (a core moving going demographic) and twenty-somethings (another big movie going group) do not want to pay $7.00 to see actors their parents' age getting jiggy on the big screen.
lol
I worked at Paramount during the Lansing years and Icon Productions (Mel Gibson's prod co.) was right across from my office, and, Tom Cruise was on the lot too. My, how things have changed at Paramount.
The only thing I remember about Sherry Lansing is that she made her assistant hand wash her underwear...showbiz!

OMG that's disgusting!!!! Ewwwwwwww. I wonder where her assistant is now - probably an agent at CAA!
he needs his ass kicked
Tom Cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol
I had it from a good source...but it might have been Dawn Steel. I'm old and the gossip gets jumbled.
Anyway, I'm off to work --thankfully not in movies.
I didn't recognize the name Sherry Lansing, but I did recognize many titles of the movies she produced. Black Rain is one of which I went to see when I was in college. Friend of mine and I got high one weekend, got bored and went to the midnight showing of Black Rain on it's opening weekend. I don't even remember anything about the movie, except that Michael Douglas was the lead actor. LOL
