The Rhesus monkey (rhesus macaque) lives in India. It's thought of highly in the United States, primarily for it's contributions to medical research.
I know what Indian people call each other for insults ~ none of it suitible for a family website ~ but none of it about being a monkey either. Lot of stuff about sisters though.
