The local press, especially the WP, have been relentless on this issue. Hardly a day goes by when it isn't mentioned. The WP has had it on the front page twice, written an editorial on it the day after, had two pieces from columists on the opinion page, put it in the Metro section including a graphic on hairstyles, in the Style section, and inside the A section. The Webb campaign has also been active.

I agree that you can only apologize so many times, but the MSM will not let go of the issue and continues to bring it up incessantly. I don't blame Allen for reacting the way he does.

The Dems just laugh this stuff of when it happens to them. Never apologize to a rat.... All they'll do is repeatedly hit you over the head with it.
