GAY EXEC SLAIN; EX-GIULIANI AIDE (organized Hispanic support for Rudy's immigration policies)
NY POST ^ | August 24, 2006 | MURRAY WEISS and MATHEW CHARLES

Posted on 08/24/2006 1:30:44 AM PDT by Liz

....a prominent gay public-relations executive days was found dead.... strangled in his own bed. Martin Barreto, 49, a former aide to then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani, was discovered naked with KY Jelly and a condom next to his body..........worked in Giuliani's press office 1994 through 1995....helped organize Hispanic support for the mayor's immigration policies......

Barreto, a distant relative of former Nicaraguan President Violeta Barros de Chamorro, lived with a cousin in the high-security building, but was alone Saturday night when he invited a stranger up. The man stayed briefly, and two hours later another visitor arrived, staying only 10 to 15 minutes.

Officials are looking into whether his crushed larynx was the result of rough sex gone horribly wrong. Barreto had used escort services in the past, a source said.

The former journalist graduated from liberal-elite Brown University.....a close friend of jetsetter Bianca Jagger and knew John Kennedy Jr. from their days together at Brown, recalled his partner at Barreto & Brightwell Associates. He had lodged four harassment complaints against a former boyfriend, but police don't suspect that man.

I was just doing the MSM "act". LOL

But, I was dead serious about Haley. He's a good man, but he isn't going to run.

FWIW, I think that someone WILL show up, who NOBODY has even thought of/mentioned.

Dole won't run; that's just silly. He's too old and he lost to Slick.

FR's goal, as stated by the boss, on the front page, is to GET RID OF AS MANY LIBERALS ( and by that, he means DEMS),

Wrong! It is to get rid of LIBERALs. Rudy is a liberal. You can mischaracterize things all you want but Rudy is a liberal and he deserves our derision and opposition. He and his kind are a cancer within the GOP and the nation.

Play the video of Rudy's speech to the 2004 GOP Convention.

People all over he country, in the South particularly, are having an amazingly positive response to Rudy. He is drawing crowds and contributions. These people "get it"

As a swampdwelling redneck I've been told that my opinion is of less value than a NooYawker's, so I'll just say, Hell, No! My vote is what counts, and Rudy won't get it.

Last time I looked Iowa is in flyover country and a recent poll of likely Republican caucus goers has Rudy in the lead at 30 percent, McCain at 17 and everyone else in the dust. Perhaps you may have overstated your strength?

"So stop complaining and name calling when we oppose the attempts to hijack a conservative site into a promotional vehicle for liberals."

Hear! Hear! You Rudy promoters get your own website going. Personally, I don't think that anyone should get the Republican nomination who doesn't come from a state that the Republicans have carried in the last three Presidential elections. If you have so little influence in your own state, why should you be the GOP standard bearer?

Needless to say, that state has given us carpetbagging Senators Hillary Clinton and Robert Kennedy, not to mention the spineless Governor Pataki, Mayor John Lindsey and Nelson Rockefeller. America doesn't need New Yorkers sending GOP candidates for President.

No, you've chosen to be misled by polls.

Liz seems to think that all Rudy did in his years of office was promote gay rights and go to Gay Men Chorus rehearsals. This is really strange thinking, and it perplexes me that so many Freepers agree with her.

If Rudy did anything wrong as Mayor (and he did), the worst was his rerouting traffic routes in Manhattan so that cabbies couldn't make left turns on 42nd St (!?), rerouted pedestrian traffic on 5th Avenue so that I couldn't get into Saks Fifth Avenue without getting a ticket and tried (and failed) to install taxi stations so that old ladies would have to walk ten blocks out of their way rather than hail a taxi from the comfort of their apartment sidewalks.

He better not try ANYTHING like that when he becomes president.

I wonder, would a President Giuliani change the blue, red or green room to fuchsia so his sodomite pals feel more at home when they visit AND work in the White House?

Mmmmmmm.....Rudy's fave color seems to be pink---so one could reasonably conclude Rudy is "Thinking Pink."

And don't forget all the creeps and crooks in the Statehouse up in Albany----oh, and the convicted rapist who worked for Speaker Silver.
